Why you can't (and shouldn't) get Ozempic® for weight loss
Ozempic® is semaglutide dosed and approved for type 2 diabetes. Prescribing it off-label for weight loss contributed to diabetic patients facing shortages — and it caps at a lower dose than weight-management treatment calls for.
